ABOUT ME
MY STORY
Since 2016, Kathleen Owens has approached storytelling with a creative, innovative lens. Shifting from entertainment journalism to branded content in 2018 allowed her to merge an editorial voice with strategic brand thinking—crafting content that resonates with readers while meeting business goals. Over the past seven years, she has written and directed campaigns for some of the world’s most recognizable fashion and lifestyle brands, including Jimmy Choo, Christian Louboutin, Nordstrom, Ulta, Valentino, H&M, Athleta, and Sephora. Her work has been featured on platforms like The Cut, POPSUGAR, and Thrillist where she has translated complex marketing objectives into compelling stories that inspire, connect, and drive action.
When she’s not writing or creating, you can usually find her exploring local matcha cafés, hunting for hidden boutiques, or curating her next travel itinerary — all sources of inspiration that fuel her creative work.
Beyond the brands, Kathleen is passionate about the craft of storytelling itself — seeing it as both an art and a strategy. She believes that the best creative work sits at the intersection of style, culture, and emotion, where words and visuals transform into experiences that people remember. Based in the Chicago area (and a former New Yorker), she brings a sharp editorial eye, a collaborative spirit, and a love of fashion and lifestyle to every project she takes on.
